How to prepare for your move to Estonia

Moving to Estonia, you will find a country with the cleanest air in the world. One of the smaller nations in Europe in terms of landmass, it’s surprisingly uncrowded, providing a natural beauty that’s easily accessible wherever you choose to live.

Removals to another country are an exhilarating experience but can feel a little intimidating too. With so much to organise and the unknown awaiting, it’s normal to feel not just excited, but a bit overwhelmed as well. To avoid the culture shock and the challenges that most people moving abroad are faced with, it is a good idea to get familiar with the local life, traditions and all other aspects of your new life well in advance of your actual move to Estonia.

What Documents you’ll need

Paperwork is the last thing you need to deal with before your move to Estonia, which is why we will supply you with two forms only: a service contract and an inventory list.

We will send you the inventory template upon booking, and you’ll need to email a copy of the completed template to your move manager as soon as possible. More importantly, you must print a copy for yourself and the driver/s.

What our clients have
to say about us

Moving to Estonia

I have to say that we are very pleased with the service provided. Overall, the process was smooth and easy. About the moving itself, we have to say that the driver was not only helpful with loading and unloading the truck but he also showed he really cared about our stuff and tried to ensure that everything arrived in perfect condition. Therefore we give a 10 of 10 for their service. Both for the process and the driver.

I had a great experience working with the team, Petar and Claire were very responsive up until and including move day. It is true that a subcontractor is used for pick up, loading and delivery, but what a workhorse Marius was! We had a very competitive quote, and it was clear that the service is only for moving the goods, packing, helping to load and insurance were done by ourselves. So you do need to be prepared! All in all a great experience moving from NL to the UK- all on schedule and intact.

It is always a bit nerve-wracking paying in advance for a service you only know through online recommendations, but we were impressed at every stage with European Moving. Sarah at head office was great and sorted out our delivery and collection worries. Micheal the driver was really nice too – very helpful. The price was very competitive too. I would recommend!
